The Hope Hub [hehopehub.org.uk] is one of the local charities supported by a regular Frimley Fuel grant. In 2019 we gave £1000 to enable the team to meet immediate needs for travel costs, clothing and other essentials of people seeking help. We also provided the money for a deposit and a month’s advance rent for 7 people, helping to get their lives together again. A grant to continue this work in 2020 was agreed in January. “Frimley Fuel Allotment provide a lifeline to a number of Hope Hub Clients who qualify within the GU15/16 postcode and would otherwise be homeless. Each person assisted with a grant from FFA since 2018 is immensely grateful and has enabled them to secure rental accommodation and in some cases, a few essential household items as well. The Hope Hub charity are very grateful and pleased to be able to work with the FFA.
